I am thinking of getting some solar panels for my coach however I am curious to find out how long they last. I don't want to make a thousand dollar investment for something that might only last a year or two.

Any ideas or suggestions?

As far as I know Solar Panels will last for years and years if well taken care of. Check out the RV SOLAR ELECTRIC site. If you can't find the 'real' answer then use the 'questions' button on the top menu. These folks know what they're doing and will respond to questions...

Most if not all panels have a 25 yr. warranty to put 80% of their power after that many yrs. Well worth buying, you will need 50watts of panel for every 100amps of battery ie. 2- 6volt Trojan will need 100-120 watts of panel. I have 8 trojans and 4-120 panels. Just my thoughts.
